How to Use Make Address Book Entry (Windows)

A very easy way to add a new nickname to your Eudora address book is to use the Make Address Book Entry command.

Choose the message from the person you wish to add to your address book.

In the mailbox, highlight the message from the person you wish to make the Address Book entry for. In our example above, the e-mail from Ed has been chosen.

You can also highlight multiple messages if you wish to make an entry with multiple addresses. Hold down the Shift key to select multiple entries in sequence or the Ctrl key to make random selections.

Special: Make Address Book Entry (Ctrl+K)

From the Special menu, choose Make Address Book Entry.

Click OK and Ed will now appear in the address book.

The Make Address Book Entry dialog box is displayed prompting you for the nickname of the new entry. Name this nickname and click OK. It will now be in your Eudora address book.

The Make Address Book Entry is explained in further detail in the Address Book section of the manual.
