What is ESP?
ESP stands for Eudora Sharing Protocol. The feature lets a group of people share files automatically over email.
How does ESP work?
Think of it as a fileserver built right into Eudora, that lets you say what files your friends or co-workers get to see. With ESP, you no longer need to worry about keeping family, friends, and co-workers up to date on such things as a family photo album or a work presentation. ESP automatically syncs files in selected folders on the hard drives of all members of the group.
What are some ways I could use ESP?
There are unlimited different uses of ESP. Some examples include-
- Sharing Photos with Family and Friends
Simply drop your photos in an ESP Group folder and other people in your ESP Group can view your photographs and (if you let them) edit them and add to them!
- Synchronizing Documents between Work and Home
Create an ESP Group and subscribe your work email address and your home email address. Make a change to your calendar at home - and the changes will be synchronized with your calendar at work!
- Building a Presentation with Co-Workers
Put your word processor files in your ESP Group folder and let other people in your ESP Group help write and edit your presentation!
