Registering Eudora (Windows)

ISSUE:

How do I register my Eudora?

SOLUTION:

In Eudora, go to Help: Payment & Registration. Click on the button "Register with Us" to register your Eudora.

ISSUE:

I don't want the ads. What can I do?

SOLUTION:

In Eudora, go to Help: Payment & Registration. From here, you can click on "Paid mode" and follow the instructions to purchase Eudora in Paid mode with no ads.

ISSUE:

I filled out the web page to register, but nothing changed in Eudora. How exactly is this supposed to work?

SOLUTION:

• Sponsored users: After filling out the registration form on the web page, Eudora will receive an email message from the registration server that contains your name and registration number. Upon receipt of this message with Eudora, you will be prompted to accept this registration code.
• Paid users: If you used Help: Payment & Registration and selected Paid mode and filled out the information to purchase a license for Eudora in Paid mode, you should also receive an email from the registration server with your name and registration number. Accepting this registration code switches you into Paid mode.

• Light Users: Same as Sponsored mode, filling out the registration web page sends you an email to register your product with your name and registration code for the Light mode.

NOTE: You can register the product for all three modes, each registration is mode specific. Also, if the regcode.dat file fails for any reason to be processed automatically (for example, if you accidentally received it with another email application), you can go to Help: Payment & Registration: Change Your Registration and enter the name and registration code manually. (If you enter a code for a mode other than the current mode, clicking OK will automatically switch Eudora to the mode specified by that registration code).
