Password Recovery in Worldmail 2.0

First, try turning on your caps lock, then enter your password. If that does not help, below are the steps necessary to recover a corrupted or forgotten Eudora WorldMail Password.

  1. From the desktop select start then run and type in cmd and press enter

  2. Once at a command prompt navigate to the Worldmail directory. This is located by default in \Program Files\Worldmail

  3. From the Worldmail directory, navigate to the SMTP directory

  4. In the SMTP directory, run the following applications exactly as they appear below, replacing "Password" with the desired password

  5. Smtpd -manager -ro "Password"

  6. Smtpd -manager -rw "Password"

  7. Imsd -manager -ro "Password"

  8. Imsd -manager -rw "Password"

  9. The next application we need to run is located in \program files\worldmail\rmap

  10. Once in the RMAP directory run the following application exactly as it appears below, replacing "Password" with the desired password

  11. Rmap -admin "Password"

  12. Restart the server
