Checking mail for ATTBI/Comcast Document ID: 2462HQIssue: There has been an issue discovered with ATTBI/Comcast's implementation of STARTTLS. Their implementation of STARTTLS is not responding properly after Eudora for Windows sends the password to the server. No error is displayed in Eudora, but Eudora users get an alert which reads "No New Mail". Solution: The current solution for Eudora is to disable SSL negotiation. To do this in Eudora go to Tools:Options:Checking Mail -- set Secure Sockets when Receiving to Never.
