The files that used to be in the Eudora Applications Folder

Document ID: 2406HQ

ISSUE:

Where do I find the application files that used to be in the Eudora Application Folder? For example: help files, spelling dictionary, esoteric settings, etc.

Where do I install a plug-in file if I don't have a Eudora Stuff folder?

SOLUTION:

Eudora for OS X installs in the Application folder by default. However, the former contents of the Eudora Application Folder is now installed as a bundle within the Eudora for OS X application file.

If you need to access such individual parts of Eudora - for example, you wish to install an EMSAPI Plug-In in the "Eudora Stuff" folder - you will have to open the "bundle.

1. Find the Eudora application icon

2. Hold down -CTRL- and click on the icon

3. Select "Show Package Contents" from the menu

4. Open the "Contents" folder

5. Open the "MacOS" folder

You will see the contents of the Eudora package including the Eudora Stuff folder.
