Will Eudora and EudoraWeb work on my Palm VII? Document ID: 2004HQISSUE: Will Eudora and EudoraWeb work on my Palm VII? SOLUTION: Yes, but not with Palm VII's propietary network service. You'll have to use a Palm modem, which defeats the purpose of wireless device. Alternatively, to use true wireless, you will need a connection to a cell phone or a device like an OmniSky modem. With a device like this, you have the option of connecting to an ISP or wireless data network. Palm.net uses the equivalency of web-mail and proxy ports/web-clipping. Eudora is POP3/SMTP based, and EudoraWeb is a true html browser, it does not use proxy server or web-clipping. This means you have to set up a network connection and connect to an ISP in order to download mail and browse the web. Keywords: ALLCARDS, EIS
