Upgrade Eudora - Every time I launch Eudora (Windows)

ISSUE:

Eudora (Windows) prompts me to upgrade my Eudora every time I launch Eudora. I'm already using the most current version.

OR

When I open Eudora 4.3 for (Windows), a blank window is opened without any content.

SOLUTION:

This issue was addressed in version 4.3.2 of Eudora. Make sure that you are using at least version 4.3.2 and preferably the most current version of Eudora.

If you continue to get the upgrade notice and you are using 4.3.2 or later, then you can disable the feature by copying and pasting the following text into a new message in Eudora.

<x-eudora-option:DontShowUpdates=1>

The text you paste will show up in blue as a URL. Hold down the ALT key and click on it - a window will appear asking you to click OK. Click OK to it. That will do it.
