Eudora asks to set your Time Zone Document ID: 1863HQIssue: Eudora asks me to set my Time Zone. Solution: Eudora relies on your Operating system and its configuration in order to put the correct date headers in your outgoing email messages. If your Operating System is 7.x, 8.0, or 8.1, go to your control panels folder within your System folder. Open the Map control panel. You will see an empty box in the middle of this window, type the name of your city (if your Macintosh does not recognize the name of your town, type a large city name within your current time zone) and hit the find button. The blinking cursor in the map above will flash at the location you have typed. Verify this is roughly where you are in the world and hit the Set button in the lower right corner of the Map control panel window. You're done! If your Operating System is 8.5 or later, open the Date and Time control panel located in your System folder/Control panels folder. Click the "Set Time Zone " button and select the city you reside in. You're done! KEYWORDS: EPMAC
