How do I prevent unauthorized message relaying?

How do I restrict unauthorized message relaying?

If you right click Internet Mail, you will see a Security option. Select that and then go to the Message Relaying tab. Enter the base address and netmask for your group of IP addresses. For example:

IP Address              Netmask

192.168.22.0            255.255.255.0

These numbers would allow 192.168.22.1 to 192.168.22.254 to relay messages. All other IP addresses would be rejected. You can add more than one range if you have multiple blocks of addresses. Then click the Insert button beside Allow access only to these addresses. Once you click OK, you need to restart the SMTP service. From the NT Services Control Panel, stop and then restart Eudora WorldMail.

After the restart, only the IP addresses in those blocks will be allowed to relay mail. This also means that authorized users outside of that network range will need to use an SMTP server other than your WorldMail server in order to be able to relay messages. WorldMail does not support SMTP Authentication at this time.
