Eudora launches with a % sign in To: field of new message

Issue:

Eudora opens with a %1 or a %2 in the "To:" field of a new message.

Solution:

This is a known issue when launching Eudora from within Internet Explorer with Eudora set as the default mail program. With Eudora 4.2.1 and above, you will get this error when launching Eudora from the Tools: Mail and News: Read mail or New message menu item or the Mail button: Read mail or New message options within Internet Explorer.

Launching Eudora from a shortcut to the Eudora.exe will not exhibit this behavior
