Circular reference

Issue:

When sending mail, Eudora returns an error about a circular reference.

Solution:

In the address book, look for a nickname that has the same name for both nickname and address. A nickname cannot be the same as its address.

Nicknames can be nested, so if your nickname is X, Eudora looks at the address field. If the address is also X, Eudora recognizes this is also a nickname, and looks at the address field. This loop results in a circular reference error.

You should not have any email addresses in the nickname side of the address book window when viewing by nickname. Addresses belong in the addresses field only.
