You need to download this ONLY if you've been using a copy of Eudora 5.0.xR. This means you
previously bought as a box product, or via an electronic reseller. This
means that you were running in Paid mode right out of the box.
When in doubt, check
the About Box of your version of Eudora. If you see an R next to the version, you want to
download 5.1R.
If the R is missing, you want to
download 5.1
(no R).
Note: This
updater will NOT update
- a Beta version
of Eudora. If you are running a Beta version of Eudora, you need to
revert back to a non-Beta version before running the updater.
- non-'r' versions,
even if you are running in paid mode. To update a non-'r' version, download
the full
installer, which also acts as an updater, regardless of the mode
(Paid, Sponsored, Light) in which Eudora is running.
